The greatest Thoroughbreds in the world, including Barbaro, Spectacular Bid, Unbridled and Needles, have all competed in the $1 million Florida Derby. Over the past 72 years, 46 starters have gone on to win a remarkable 59 Triple Crown events, and 25 have won the Kentucky Derby. This year's 73rd edition will once again see the top 3-year-olds compete in what has become the most important prep race leading up to the Triple Crown.
