Winner of the prestigious Deutscher JazzPreis for Best Vocal Album of the Year and praised by The New Yorker and DownBeat, soul-jazz vocalist and pianist Kandace Springs is one of her generation's premier performers. Mentored by Prince and having shared stages with Norah Jones, Herbie Hancock, and Christian McBride, Springs showcases material from her deeply personal album Run Your Race, a heartfelt tribute to her late father, Nashville soul icon Scat Springs. Accompanied by her all-female rhythm section, Springs delivers a soulful, masterclass performance blending original compositions, sultry jazz, and timeless classic standards. The Box Office at Jimmy's Jazz and Blues Club is open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM, offering both in-person and phone ticket sales. You can purchase tickets by calling 888-603-5299 (ext. 1) or by visiting us at 135 Congress Street in Portsmouth, NH.
