The Dirty Dozen Brass Band

Grammy Award winners and pioneers of the modern New Orleans brass revolution, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band has redefined Crescent City music for nearly five decades. Formed in 1977, the world-renowned seven-piece ensemble seamlessly fuses traditional second-line brass foundations with bebop jazz, funk, R&B, and soul. Having toured across five continents and recorded 12 studio albums alongside collaborators like Norah Jones, Modest Mouse, and Widespread Panic, the band delivers a relentless, high-octane "musical gumbo" packed with roaring horns, deep grooves, and legendary stage energy.
