Weekdays from 5:30 am - 10 am Skye Syke was born & raised right here on Long Island & has a deep love for everything pop culture! You know what he's really good at, though?? Remembering lyrics to every single 80's & 90's cartoon. He also LOVES cereal!! Syke is also BLI's resident celebrity interviewer & some of his favorite interviews include Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, & Ed Sheeran! When he's not spending time scheduling music here at the station, chatting you up in the afternoon, or interviewing some of music's biggest stars, Syke likes to stay local & visit area restaurants & bars! He's an avid sports fan too, rooting for the Mets, Jets, Knicks, and Islanders! MJ At the age of 16, she began her career in radio and loved it. She ventured out into the music industry world & at the age of 22, she was pulled away from radio & music completely & became a teacher. She taught elementary school for 4 years, but couldn’t fight the urge to get back into radio. At 26, MJ decided to give radio another shot & is now the newest member of the BLI team.
